I wonder if officially having the UM game rescheduled put a little extra pep in our step. we only need them to lose once for us to control our own destiny

MSU put together a solid game today and earned the road win against IU. They’re playing for their tournament lives and a win against #4 Illinois would be a nice feather in the cap.
Can’t come out flat footed or we will be digging out of a whole.

I think MSU has work to do even if they somehow beat us. Minnesota is on the fringe and look at their home wins

Tues-Thur-Sat this week. 3 games in five days. Going be busy playing basketball!

I've seen a lot of MSU this season. I think we'll be easily favored. Intensity is the key -- and we should pull away.

MSU looked a little better today against IU. Langford is beginning to do what he did before his injury. They don’t have anyone to cover Kofi. Enoch come on down to I U.

This game worries me a bit. I think we're more likely to lose this one than the @Wisconsin game. We didn't play well against MSU last year and this game will be huge for them. Their record isn't great but they have talent and show flashes of being a good team. No question we're the better team, but definitely not a game the guys should be overlooking.

Every game will be tough. But as well saw tonight, play to put potential and we should beat everyone in conference.
Run it back....yes, everyone

Very few times does the Illini have a chance to redeem themselves against Tom Izzo.

This is our time

We seem to have very entertaining games against Sparty through the years. Let's hope this year we end up on the W side. Go Illini!

I'm not worried that our team will overlook this game. It's MSU. They'll come in with some fire

Typical MSU team. They seem to be getting better as the season wears on. However, this is not one of Izzo's great teams.

Or a couple of back to back wins against Michigan to close out the season would be a nice resume booster as well- I vote for that one!

TJD and Thompson had like 52 of 62 IU points at one point. Meds big games from big men/ attack basket.

Well the MSU guys are apparently playing for their scholarships now (to loosely paraphrase Izzo), so I can see two possibilities. They come out like gang busters to keep their scholly, or they say f this guy, and roll over.

MSU always makes me nervous because they always have talent. They haven’t been a good team so far and guard play has hurt them. We should win fairly easily if we play our game. If the game gets physical or Kofi gets in foul trouble that helps their chances considerably I think.
