I was hoping Harper wouldn't play. I had a feeling all year that we would lose that game if they had Harper and Bailey. I don't think they would have been able to score enough if Harper didn't play.

Still actually crazy optimistic. How quickly we forget the great things about the Ohio State game. KJ finds his form again alongside how Will’s playing plus Tomi/Morez and this team could be cooking.

Idk why I’m so positive, but I feel like we only drop 2 or 3 games the rest of the way.

Must win game now. Gotta get these next 3 especially. I know a lot of people have, but not giving up on this team yet. I think when Kasparas finds his game again things are going to flip
At some point, "gotta get these next 3" turns into "thanks for stopping by". We are running out of road here.

My guess is Garcia gets 30 and we lose by two possessions. Hope they prove me wrong.

The Illini would be 18-15 in that scenario.
Right, my mistake. Brain still fried from the garbage performance I witnessed from the team. Lol. With the way the team has performed asking for 5 more wins to get us to 20 wins in the season is looking like a pipe dream. If we can’t beat Minnesota then what hope is there in thinking we can beat a bad Iowa squad?

5 PM Saturday. Sounds like a good game to have on DVR and watch if things go OK. I turned last night's game off after 21-6. It's just not enjoyable to watch a team continue to do the same things causing defeat over and over and over again without any sort of recognition that things need to change.

I can take losing games. What I can't take is not trying to fix what is broken and thinking Plan B is "Plan A, but better". As a US Soccer fan, that infuriated me for years with Gregg Berhalter coaching the US national team. I'm getting a lot of similar vibes from Underwood right now, and it's not a good feeling. We might just have to wait for the end of the season and a staff house-cleaning before seeing anything noticeable.

All I want now is for Auburn to lose in the NCAA tournament, because I'm not sure I can take Bruce Pearl winning a NCAA championship before Illinois.

I see this as a must win -most alarming stat for me is we are 27% from three 108/391 thus far in big ten play. whats more concerning, no real stat to back this up.. but from recollection so many have seemed to be wide open/high quality looks -- That recipe wont get you to March/second weekend if you do make it there --hell you miss two open looks in a pickup game your not seeing the ball again - #311 in the country on the season for 3PT% -- on avg this is 21 empty possessions a game --- liked how they adjusted in 2nd half against OSU dominating the paint but are we well coached enough to always make that adjustment if they arent falling idk

Minnesota is trending up and on the road, Iowa is trending down and at home. Iowa is 100% our easiest remaining game.

Two of the biggest problems with this team right now.

1 Our three point shooters have not performed at the level that is needed or expected.
2 Brads stubbornness of going forward with the same approach even when it's not working.

If the three pointers are falling, by all means let them fly but if they are not we need to make faster in-game adjustments. Especially when we can be so efficient in our two point offense.

Someone with better knowledge can post the scene I'm referring to. This arm brace/injury with KJ is starting to make me think of the scene in the movie Talladega Nights. Where Wil Ferrell thinks he cant walk because of his leg but after getting stabbed in the leg he realizes he DOES have feeling in his leg. Either the brace comes off KJ or you need to sit is what I would tell him. It almost appears mental at this point....shrugs but I will admit...I am not a doctor!!!

How was Matt Painter's 7th season compared to Underwood's?
How did his 9th and 10th seasons go?
Made it to minimum the 2nd round of the tournament for the 6th straight year. Had previously been to the Sweet 16 twice before that year. Hadn't made it past the Sweet 16 like Brand.

9th year also didn't make the tournament.

10th year made the tournament but lost in the 1st round.
