Have a little of that too. Comes with being a Chicago and Illini fan.
Illinois was -3 last year on neutral site, and -2 this year in Columbia. Makes sense given it’s mostly all the same players and no home crowd.

I will probably say this a dozen more times this season...god willing...but I can’t think of another game I want as badly as this one. From LaPhonso Ellis saying on ESPN that we should have hired Clownzo, to poaching Tilmon, and then Mark Smith and his father lying about BU...I want them to suffer humiliation!!!
This game doesn't have me nervous at all. Bring em on.
Also, I spent some time watching Deron and Frank Williams highlights. Curbelo is just a different animal completely. I'm so excited to watch this game just because I get to see him. I've been an Illini fan since Kiwanne Garris. Hot take... Curbelo has potential to be my favorite Illini. His game is so fun to watch.

This is our first game as an established national title contender in 15 years. No more conjecture. We are the real deal. I hope the guys dominate and have fun. Let's keep Trent, Damonte, Giorgi, and Andre confident.
