Wildcats have 3 games they'll play before Illini play them. They're about to play Butler here shortly on CBS Sports Network as part of the Arizona Tip-Off. They will then play either Mississippi State or UNLV tomorrow. They have their first B1G game of the season on Tuesday night at Iowa. That game will be at 6:00 PM on Peacock.

Wow, that's kind of wild that there are 2 games being played in the time that Illinois won't play.

I'd like to think that means the Illini will be more fresh.

Northwestern has been dreadful from the 3 point arc. Last 4 games:

Don’t think they have enough offense to keep up with the Illini. I will say Illinois wins 77-55

I didn’t even realize next game wasn’t for a week until I saw date in thread title. Oh well, give our young players a chance to get a little rest. Glad it is NW next rather than WI.

this should be a routine, easy win. I've thought that myriad times before and a death match ensued. I don't think so though, the Kitties don't have the firepower or athleticism to keep up. watch Martinelli have an all-time game, lol
