Been a little nervous about this one ever since they gave us a close game at our place. Can we just blow them out this time please?

Please come alive for this one Giorgi, we’re begging you.
Robbie Hummel just nailed it on the post game show. Today's game does not accommodate two bigs in the game at the same time. NCAA basketball is now a shooter's game. The paint is not big enough for two big guys.

100% agree. Georgi is going to add lots of value over the next 6-10 games, but primarily backing up Kofi at the 5. He'll be a big presence and significant player again once Kofi leaves the program.

I get your point but this has nothing to do with Kofi right now. This is all Giorgi, he’s in his own head. Missing easy bunnies just flicking the ball up there with zero confidence. You can see it in his body language. We need him to simply just be his normal self if we want to go on a run in the postseason. I’m rooting for him to turn it around.

He got a rebound early in the second half, and was pretty much wide open on the left side of the hoop.

He didn't even hit the rim on the wide open layup.

He's got the yips.

They can definitely both play together. That was our main line up during our winning streak. Giorgi just has zero confidence right now.

That’s exactly what I said on this play. We need to draw up our back cut play for an easy oop when he checks in on Thursday.

This is the last game that I will "worry" about, just because it's our last chance for a brutal loss. If we win Thursday, let the chips fall where they may after that.

A win on Thursday and the rest of the season is about seeding.

Paint Evanston orange.

I'll be there, and I expect one of our biggest turnouts in Evanston in YEARS. Chicago area fans (I gladly welcome myself to this club, as of last August!) have reason for excitement, it's a Thursday night and NU's limited-already fan base is apathetic. Consider these StubHub numbers:

NU's Senior Day game vs. Penn State on a Saturday currently has tickets available for $13 ... cheapest ticket for the Illini game on a Thursday night right now? $110. Color me skeptical that this is due to Wildcats fans' intense desire to show up for their team and this game ... there will be a LOT of orange in the stands. Also, the Krush hasn't roadtripped yet, right?? Hoping that's their game.

I'm pumped to be in attendance for this one!

Play hard from the start and this is ours. Win this and most realistic outcome will be 21-10, which would get us that double bye.

How does Giorgi get on track? The team can't really afford to waste any possessions forcing the offense through him. Practice doesn't seem to be enough to shake his funk, and it seems to be getting worse.

We know he's capable. Preseason I considered him as a possible early entry candidate. His footwork seems off, less fluid.

He's had to go against Kofi too much in practice. Making him nervous.
