Coach said in the postgame that Ayo is in the concussion protocol. So this is more than a "is he comfortable wearing a mask" issue.
I am fully restocked on beets, beet juice and beet workout supplements for Saturday. Definitely the weirdest outcome of this season, personally.
We've now played 4 games against the top 6 non-Illini teams in the AP top 25. We're 2-2 in those games. It would be great to get above .500.

They will come out Saturday with a different game plan against osu then when we played them last time. They won’t let Ej go off.
Liddell went nuts on us and I would like to see GB own him. Liddell is a hard matchup for Kofi because he is quick and has a nice jump shot.

Yes I think we put Kofi on Young and use a combo of Grandi/Giorgi on Liddell throughout the game, with digging help from wings if Liddell goes down low. My guess is Grandi starts but I bet he and Giorgi get the same minutes and who finishes the game will depend on who is most effective at slowing Liddell down.
I wouldn't count on Liddell going 4-7 from 3 again like he did in the first game. He is 18-51 on the year (35%). I think I'd still go with Kofi on him.

I hated that Maryland game so much. Their record was so bad then and Ayala was out. I went on a college basketball blackout for a few days, not reading or watching anything until we played at Nebraska a few days later. I think it was Sunday-Wednesday.
Game time comes and I put on BTN, no game. Maybe FS1? No. Any of the ESPNs? I’m flipping around for 5-10 minutes thinking of any channel that could possibly show college hoops, getting more and more frustrated. Finally, I checked online and saw that the game had been called off two days earlier due to COVID.
I need to go find the thread talking about his pro prospects.
But I think he was something like 3-18 heading into our game. So for the past 2 months plus he’s been shooting 3’s at a 40% clip or better.
