Honestly, if I did bet, I would take tO$U, give the points. I think the number will be close, and the only reason not to cover, would be that the Buckeyes have NOTHING to fear from our offense. So, they can safely play their 3rd string for the second half.

Agree with this. Blow out first half, even with a vanilla offense. Stay healthy for UM, so rest starters.

Chris Farley and SNL made that hack Ditka a ton of money that he didn't deserve.

Don't really have any dog in the fight here, but I think Ditka was pretty famous well before the SNL bit. His accomplishments as a player and as a coach kinda speak for themselves. Not a Bears fan nor a big Ditka fan, so if you don't like him, that's fine by me. If, by chance, you're a Saints fan, then I totally get the bitterness. The Ricky Williams trade is one of the worst all-time.

One thing that might help keep the score down is that the Buckeyes are coming off a big game against MSU after getting destroyed by Iowa and they will probably be looking ahead to the Michigan game. Let's face it, OSU will have to sleepwalk through the entire game to keep the deficit under 25 or 30.

I could see this game being closer than spread, but never in doubt.

OSU come out smoking, gets up 21-28 early, I can see urban working either on situational stuff, or just working on running the clock. Not in a take the foot off the gas pedal specifically, more like "let's work on running out the clock as if this game were in doubt." Things like run on first and second down, pass IF they have third down, even then, short, controlled just to get the first down.

After a big lead, it is a glorified scrimmage IMHO

Hearing rumors that both Jeff George Jr. and Cam Thomas didn't practice this week. Might see Chayce Crouch under center tomorrow afternoon.

So if this is true, I think we'd then have 17 players out for injury tomorrow. And with only 76 scholarship players on the roster that's... 59 available scholarship players going on the road to play Ohio State?

I'm thinking something like 63-0.

But, whatever...score doesn't really matter in this one. They've already beaten Rutgers 56-0, Maryland 62-14, Nebraska 56-14, MSU 48-3. Those are all better teams than us. Can't get much worse than any of those.

I’m in Columbus and had Illibuck in my hands. I was tempted to run off with it.

My prediction is OSU 35 and IL 0 at halftime.

The final score will depend on whether Urban has pity on Tubby. I could see 70 - 0 if that is what Urban wants but I don't think he will do that.

Final OSU 52 and IL 10.

I predict we score first and hold a brief early game lead 2-0

I suppose it's nice to see Crouch get one last start. I'm sure he's put a ton of practice time in at QB since he got to campus. Hopefully, next year's QB depth chart looks very different. As for this game, maybe we get lucky and, since Urban hasn't watched any of our offensive game film (pardon the redundancy in that phrase), he isn't smart enough to just stack the box the whole game. Then again...

I will always remember in my first year of owning season tickets when we scored first against Penn State, and then Penn State scored 63 straight points on us. My wife refused to let us leave... it was like 65 degrees and super sunny and I got sun burn on my legs.

Still my worst memory of any game I've ever attended at Memorial Stadium.
