This is an opportunity game for us. Hope we come ready to play and bring home a W. The Washington game APPEARS TO BE the lesser challenge. I'm hoping so anyway,

Ready for weekly for B1G conference games. Still not sure how good Illinois and the conference are....

Feel like DGL has a breakout game against HM competition. Can see his confidence growing game by game other than a stinker against 'Bama.

Brad just needs to adjust the rotation now instead of in January like he always wait to.

Hum to the bench and roll with KJ, Kylan, Tre, Morez, Ivisic, DGL, and Riley as your top 7. Ben can be the 8th guy in the rotation ahead of Davis and Booth.

Also, I think there is a shot that playing DGL, Kylan, and KJ at the same time is the best lineup for this team. Let DGL and Kylan loose on the opposing teams best guards and hide KJ on their weakest perimeter player.

They tried that against Mizzou and immediately gave up a 11-0 run

I like being able to play at Oregon at this time of year. The fanbase will be football focused and the students still on break, so hopefully that will lessen their home court advantage. I don't believe they are known for having a particularly hostile environment anyway outside of just being an overall talented team to face on the road.

These two games are also our only real long road trip outside of playing at Rutgers and against Duke at MSG in February. Every other road game is a pretty quick plane ride.

They beat Bama. They are pretty tough.
While Oregon is definitely good and we would be EXTREMELY fortunate to exit there with a win, I honestly feel like the Alabama game is one of our worst performances. Is part of that because Alabama is simply good? Sure, but so is Tennessee. I think we just laid a bit of an egg and couldn't climb back into it. Not saying we are better than 'Bama (or Oregon), simply that it wasn't our day that day.

4am Spanish time, where I'm currently at, and where my wife is from. VPN and YouTube TV have made this trip extra enjoyable to keep up with b-ball and to watch the Citrus Bowl in a few days - probably will wait until normal person a.m. to watch Oregon though.

I was in Brugge, Belgium on the Sat vs Tenn.
I tried desperately to watch via VPN and YouTube wouldn’t go for it. They required the device exact location.
The Fox Spirts app doesn’t offer video of the Fox network games apparently, just FS1 and others, so I was reduced to radio.

Not an expert! That stated…
I’ve run into issues trying to watch live on network tv (CBS) which YTTV aligns with your local market. I haven’t had this issue when I give several minutes of a DVR head start though, and then jump in via the recording, starting at the beginning. Doesn’t seem to be an issue with cable channels.
I’ve tried a couple different VPNs and am pretty happy with price and performance of NordVPN. Your mileage may vary

On this note, what would posters say is the best and worst we have played this year? When I was looking at this, thankfully it honestly seems like a DECENTLY linear improvement, all things considered. I mean, sure, Northwestern was a bit of a laid egg, but that will happen. We also didn't play our best against Missouri, but sometimes you have to tough out an ugly win - and we did. For me, considering the opponent, stage, what I was expecting and a ton of other factors, I would subjectively say the best I have seen us play was vs. Arkansas, and the worst was vs. Alabama. I almost put NU for worst, but that was more of a collapse ... we looked lost against 'Bama in a way we have not in any other game, JMO.

I’ll be watching this one with a group made up of all Oregon fans…

🙏 Please, please, please let me take back bragging rights after suffering through that October train wreck at Autzen Stadium!

Let them act like they should have won. For the Illini, this would not be the first big win of their B1G history so act accordingly.

The time of year Oregon fans are focused on football is January through December.

That said, there will always be just enough basketball fans here to make for a loud stadium. At least they’ve toned down their court design from hideous to ugly. 🤮🤢

Looking forward to a three day stretch of…
🏈 Illini over Gamecrocks
🏈 Quacks over Suckeyes
🏀 Illini double digits over Quacks

Ticketmaster is emailing me asking if I want to sell my tickets. So it seems there is some local interest in the game. Or maybe they always do that.
Not sure if they always do that, but I think Oregon will have a very good crowd. They really didn’t get a very good conference home schedule for first B1G season, with Illinois and Purdue being the clear highlights. No students on campus certainly won’t help attendance, but I really don’t see that being much of a drag at all.

I am in no way a computer expert but I have found out that when using YouTube TV out of the country that I need to make doubly sure I have recently connected from that device to my home router before attempting to use it. You Tube has some weird protection in their software to stop people from sharing it.
