A win is a win, obviously, but we really should win these next two comfortably ... regardless of where this one is played. The game next Sunday at Iowa is shaping up to be huge, and it's important we continue this momentum. It's entirely possible the Nebraska game finally lit that fire "to stay" for these guys, and I would love to see us come into Iowa City on a winning streak and feeling confident.

PSU has two guys Rice and Kayden. Forgot his last name. Kayden is a ball hawk. But what I saw today we should win. Watching Ia. No real size . Kirk and the twins should have their way underneath.

As bad as they have been so far, history should have taught us 3 things;

1) They are getting better
2) Someone might have a career day against us
3) If we take any game lightly in the B1G, especially a road game, it could be a major disaster

Plus the fact we’re playing at the Palestra reminds me of that epic collapse at Rec Hall 2 years ago. I know it’s a different scenario…but sorta similar, so hopefully we just play our game and cruise.

Can we please resurrect the orange Flyin' Illini uniforms from their undeserved graves for this one?? I'm sure the smart money is on navy Flyin' Illini or orange Script (or God forbit the regular orange 1LL1NO1S rags...), but I think it would be a good time to bring those back and shake off some of the bad juju from last year's Duke loss.

I'd frame this game like the Ohio State game. Not a must-win, but lose and the Illini are close to effectively eliminated from conference champ contention. This should be an easy win, but we have not won an away game against Penn State (I'm counting this as away) since 2020.
