I fully expect to lose by about 25, but wouldn't be shocked to see us pull out a win, because that's the kind of season we're having.

That's not the kind of season we're having at all. Our best win is over Michigan at home, 49th in KenPom.

We've played 5 games against teams better than that, and Saturday's game was the first one we've been as close as single digits.

It would be completely shocking if we won. It would also be very disappointing if we spit the bit and get humiliated yet again.

Beat the spread and move on. That's my goal tonight.

My goal is not to spot them a 14-0 lead. If we can manage that, everything else is gravy.

From Eamonn Brennan, ESPN staff:

In Purdue's first 18 games, Swanigan has four 20-point, 20-rebound games -- as many as the other 4,687 players to appear in a Division I game this season combined. Whoa. (No. 21 Purdue hosts Illinois at 7 pm ET tonight.)

Fair enough, though what I meant was that most of the time we play really well or we play horribly with almost no in between, but as you pointed out we have not played really well against a good team yet.

The Michigan game is the only time this season where we could have been said to play "really well" and that may have just been a mirage of hot shooting.

We're quite consistently mediocre, just with an alarming penchant to give up and stop playing when a good team has us on the ropes.

I'd say an 18 point win against VCU holding them to 46 would count as well. At least the final 30 minutes
