Do we have any word on whether Tomi, Big Z and Petrovic will be playing Wednesday?
Here - for the next 10 times this is asked over the next 2.5 days up until game time, just copy and paste this:

"Petrovic will play, likely limited minutes [is fine, ends up playing 25 minutes]. Big Z will play, likely limited minutes [is fine, plays ends up playing 25 minutes]. Tomi is progressing nicely, may play [is not going to play until December]."

Do what PU did, shut down the driving lanes and makes them use a lot of clock. Bama likes top push the pace with their guards. We slow them down and wear them out.

Purdue's offensive game plan slowed Bama down more than anything. Lots of walking the ball up the court and making Bama defend the entire shot clock.

We like to play faster too, so I don't see us walking the ball up like Purdue did. We will have to find that fine line between being aggressive and turning it into a track meet. I don't think we can win a track meet with Bama.

Well which is it? If Tomi is "progressing nicely and may play" (against Bama ?). OR, won't play till Dec? Please pick one.

Why not, especially if we have Petro to push the pace?

With the team looking meh against Colgate don’t understand mihailo not getting a few minutes. Your pregame thoughts about him playing don’t match underwood saying he needs to get thru an entire practice.

Any truth to the rumor he was heading back to Europe to play basketball?
Hamstrings are tricky.

Wish Tomi would get healthy soon enough to play lol. It’d make me feel good about our chances in this one.

Love our tough schedule. Great games every week.

TT
Bama
Uconn
Tenn
Mizz

TT, Bama and Mizz should be like home games

Tenn @ Nashville and Uconn @ NYC are road games

I would be happy with 3-2, overjoyed at 4-1, ecstatic with 50
Personally, I think you deserve to be ecstatic!

Kid tweaked a knee and some of y'all acted like we were gonna have to take him behind the woodshed and put him down lol
To be fair-he was ruled out randomly before the FGCU game and the only word we were getting is that it shouldn't be season ending. As fans its our duty to overreact and flip out and really not until today has there been an update as to what his timeline really is.

Of all the difficult non-con games, i circled this one to start the year as our best matchup. Alabama guards are awesome, but Boswell being able to stick on one is a luxury. And then their frontcourt is average to me for a top 25 team, and Tomi would be a huge advantage.

Without Tomi, or a limited Tomi, the matchup is a lot different. I realize am stating the obvious, hes our best player. But i think even more so this game.

Yes we do bout you are right, we do not want a track meet. We want to wear them down as we know, shooters get tired from playing defense for 20 plus seconds each possession.
