Arkansas will have a 12-point lead at the half. In the end, Illinois will play "hard," and lose by four points, thus, giving their fanbase another moral victory and that this will be considered "momentum" going into next year. The script has been revealed!

Fresh Quote from an Arkansas Razorback fan blog:

“If we play above average and hit free throws, we can beat anybody, anywhere, any time. Our problem is lapses and missed free throws. If we play a complete game, even if we aren't on fire, we have the talent to compete with anyone. That's why you recruit five stars, for these types of moments when, even if they have been inconsistent all year, they may just shine when the lights are the brightest. If not, as you said, still a good season that ended in the NCAA...”

End quote.

Say Illini Nation... does this description remind you of ANYBODY?

Thankful to get in. Glad we have a tough road because we seem to rise to the occasion when faced with tall odds. Go Illini.

It doesn't make any difference who you play. You have to win 6 in a row to be the champ. It's time to put up or go home!

In March you’re as good as your guards play. Our freshmen will have to step up big time. At times they’ve been really good and times not so good.

the more and more I read about this matchup the more excited I get. this game might be the most exciting game we've played since Miami. no longer are we the favorite and going up against underseeded opponents that aren't in a p5 conference. no more fear of losing to Chatanooga / Loyola. every game is survival right now and we'll see how this Illinois team reacts. play loose, there is nothing to lose here

3:30 isn't too bad. I was hoping for a night game, but I can probably get out of work in time for a 3:30 start! Better than a morning start anyway.

For everyone who is saying this is a bad draw, they are wrong. Arkansas cannot shoot the three well like us which plays into our hands. 50/50 game imo. Kansas is the most beatable one seed that we could have played of the three
Lol that last part is cap.
