Am I the only one who feels even better about this team after the last two losses? LOL, don't get me wrong ... I really wanted those wins, and it might haunt us. However, this team is not smoke and mirrors, IMO; they can be really good. I say we get back on track with a convincing victory and a six-game winning streak going into The Barn.

Illinois 89
Austin Peay 58

Until we finish, no I don't feel better. Yes we competed and had our chances, but we haven't learned to finish yet. Then I'll feel better.

After 2 heartbreakers, I'm excited about this one. Will be curious to see who starts tonight, and curious to see the fight they come out with. I think BU got his point across to these guys loud and clear. Sometimes they lacked passion under Groce. That isn't going to happen with BU. As upset as I was after 2 OT losses, this may be enough to tick off a group of young guys, and they will learn more from those losses than they would have with victories. Victories in both may have created some complacency. I would have loved nothing more than to win both. But those heartbreakers can be catalysts for something great to come.

That being said, now all I want for Xmas is a win over Missouri. The Tillmon and Pickett de-commits didn't sit well with me.

I would like a 25 point rout tonight so I can pretend we are good again for a little while.
We are good... just extremely raw, young, and getting used to a radically coach with a radically different game plan, mindset, and mentorship style.
