Going to be a route. If we lose by less than 20 I'll be shocked.

Yep. Should have seen the warning signs. I went from…
1) Dreaming of a 1 seed after the Oregon win.
2) Still dreaming of staying above that 4/5 seed line right up until the Nebraska loss.
3) At LEAST still caring about our top 25 ranking (ya know, things fans of good programs have the pleasure of paying attention to!) until the Rutgers loss.
4) At the VERY least holding onto this hope that, even if we had a meh seed, this team could be dangerous at full health in March.
The second half vs. MSU killed that last hope, and tonight laid it to rest.
It may be time to give the blue uniforms a shot

Guessing 2019-20. Haven’t looked it up, but I remember a bizarre Big Ten schedule of like 8 straight wins, 4 straight losses and then like another winning streak to end the year, lol.

2022-23: Lost to Purdue to end the BT season, Penn State in BTT, Arkansas in first round of the Dance.
2019-20 lost four straight in first half of February
Gonna be a brutal one, I won't lie. Beat Iowa and hopefully one more at some point and hope you get healthy by March Madness

Unfortunately, this team is cruising toward an 8+ seed. I cannot see us, even 110% healthy, playing the type of basketball that takes down a 1 seed in the Second Round at this point. :/
If they can get healthy again they can play with anyone. With what has happened idk if that will actually occur though. Feels like a first round exit right now

I think Illinois plays Duke closer than the Wisconsin game. It might be one of those "moral victory, game was close until the last 3 minutes" kind of loss.
