I believe Bigguns was right. The guy Iām remembering is Brandon Roy. Kind of a big guard who always seemed to be in control and playing at a different level. Another player that broke my heart was Georgia Tech guard Mark Price in 1985. Totally different player than Roy but still managed to ruin Spring for me. Iād never heard of him but damn he could shoot it. Guessing Kentucky fans must be feeling the same way about that Gohlke guy from Oakland.
How do you not remember Brandon Roy. He should be obvious. Thatās why we mentioned Dentmon. Had nothing to do with him being right.
If I had a daughter, I'd want her to marry Marcus Domask so I would be able to work with him on his jumpshot. I've learned a thing or two on the backyard rim that I think could elevate his game.

If I remember correctly, there were some questionable calls that swung the momentum towards Washington. I may have a foggy memory on this though.

Roy was a legitimate superstar in the NBA until his knees fell apart.

Well Domask usually gets picked once or twice a game against defenses with quick hands on ball. So, thereās that.
Agreed. I think my biggest concern going into tonight is on-ball pressure on Domask, but I also think the amount of pressure and doubles necessary to do this can't typically be sustained for 40 minutes. I look for them to go all-out on it early to hang in the game or even take the lead, but Illinois's conditioning wins out yet again to pull away in the 2nd half to not only win, but cover yet again.
