You have access to the Traditions Club and buy alcohol, very expensive alcohol! $8 for a beer. They also have a buffet dinner for purchase. Enter via new East Main area.

Sounds quite reasonable. Ever been to a pro game? Talk about expensive. At least $9 for a beer. What size does the beer come in? Also, how much for that buffet dinner? Really curious to know.

with a win against Grand Canyon, knock on wood, the Illini could be 10 and 3 in the NCS. The same as last year.

Not sure how much the dinner is.

It's a 16oz can. Champaign is not an NBA city. That's why the cost is a joke! They charge $5 for a beer in Grange Grove, reasonable. The people that paid for Traditions tickets have paid a lot of money, they're just gouging us for more. I haven't bought any.

And we didn't lose to Winthrop (or whatever would have been a similar team this year)!

Will there be a televised replay?

It doesn't look like it. BTN.com's TV schedule doesn't show anything between tomorrow and the 2nd. I don't recall ever seeing a BTN+ game replayed on the TV channel either.

FYI, 1:00 (Eastern) on 1/3--Big Ten Elite: 1989 Illinois Basketball
The 1989 University of Illinois Men's Basketball team, better known as “The Flyin' Illini”, took off on a magical journey to reach the NCAA Final Four in Seattle.

Regarding scheduling, take a look at the non-conference 37-2 team. Teams I remember were #1 Wake Forest, #20ish Cincinnati(neutral), #25 ish Gonzaga(neutral), at Georgetown, Missouri, at Arkansas, Oregon (neutral).

Very tough non-conference played away from Assembly, just to show how tough that team was. Was at DC for Georgetown game, team looked like they would lose and game back savagely.

Underwood: Two grueling and hard practices after Christmas. Some individual workouts since then. Added some things schematically heading into Missouri. As locked in as we've been defensively in the 1st half.

Underwood: Great Grand Canyon team coming in here. One of the best teams we've played. Veteran guards. Hard matchup in Keonta Vernon. NCAA tournament caliber team.

Underwood: Amount of practice time has been a blessing. Spent two hours offensively yesterday. Just offense. Came back in the afternoon for defense.

Underwood: Tell our players that Christmas Break is a time to act like a professional. No academic load. You can be in the gym as much as you want.

Underwood: Tremendous amount of positive when teams want to lock down AJ. Creates space. Have to pick your poison.

Underwood: Not worried one lick about AJ. Made about 17 in a row in practice yesterday. Have to find some more ways to get him the ball, especially in transition.

Underwood: Thought all along that Trent was going to be capable of some big games. But been around long enough to know freshmen are going to struggle... To say what he's doing surprises me, it doesn't.

Underwood: Not going to accept missed free throws late in the game.

Underwood: Kipper's got to continue to grow. Continue to get better. Other guys are playing better.

Underwood: Throughly impressed with Leron, Kipper & Finke defensively against Missouri.

Staying at the I Hotel, and we saw the whole Illini team eating breakfast this morning at Houlihan's. Seeing them in their sweats with backpacks, looking like college students (albeit very tall college students) is a reminder how young they are, and how far they have come in a short time.
