i do not like our draw. Iowa third time or Minnesota at home is less than ideal. First game is actually one that most worries me

looks like we'll get the Iowa/Minnesota winner. I think I'd rather play Minnesota? The tournament being in Minneapolis adds a layer to this though.

EDIT: I was wrong. looks like OSU is the 10. I have no idea who I'd rather see. Just hope it's a close game that goes to OT.

Not easy but if we are to achieve what we all expect which is a second weekend, got to beat non-tourney teams on a neutral site. We have controlled Iowa this year and while Ohio State is playing great we still rolled them pretty good with the same players during TSJ “getting back” phase.

I think the most interesting thing about the seeding and I wouldn’t believed you a month ago

Wisconsin a 5 seed. Weren’t they ranked 4th in the nation a month ago

Nebraska they are plying well and if we play them we got to be ready

Northwestern surprised they got the double bye with their injuries.

Illinois can beat Iowa three times in a season. That will be a more difficult game than Nebraska. Then again, Nebraska just might lose to Indy. Beating both Iowa and Indy before taking down Purdue sounds like a perfect weekend.

Final regular season B1G EM:

What we know:
- Purdue is #1
- Illinois is #2
- Rutgers is #13
- Michigan is #14
- Indiana, despite rolling at the end of the season, is bad.
- Minnesota cratered the last two weeks
- Ohio State rising, above Iowa going into their Thursday matchup
- Maryland should be better than they are, is that all on coaching? Or effort?
- 4 of the 6 teams above level are on Purdue's side of the bracket. Illinois has no excuses.
- Illinois has only ever won 1 Friday game under Underwood (the Ayo-Kofi year they won the whole B1G tournament in the bubble), and have lost in the first round every other year.

I know beating a team 3 times in a season is hard but I'd much rather play Iowa again than a rising Ohio State.

Diebler has really found a way to unlock the potential of a pretty talented OSU roster.

Considering how Iowa played today in a must win to close out the season and how great OSU has been down the stretch, I'd be surprised if OSU wasn't our opponent for the Quarters. In all honesty though, if we are who we say we are, with the way the bracket is set up, there's no reason we shouldn't make it to the Finals. Beating a hot OSU or Indiana or an Iowa and Nebraska on a neutral court isn't any tougher than a 1st round opponent in the tourney. Just take care of business and move on. Would love to see us go on a run and cut down the nets with the game winner being TSJ throwing one down over Edey posterizing him
