There's, uh, no shortage of suffering around here.
Who's suffered more than us?
There's, uh, no shortage of suffering around here.
A ladder, really?
My God, the whole concept stinks of Beckmania and desperation.
Can't remember exactly which game it was, but my best guess is Missouri, he lunged to steal a pass along the sideline and when he tried to recover and get back he seemed to pause and took a lot longer than normal to get back up. My first thought was, hope he didn't re-injure anything. Saw something similar the next game. I've been thinking for a while now that something is wrong.
Haha! I just ask my wife what we're having for dinner and she said "Lasagna"!! For real
I'm thinking we win this game only to lose at Penn State and be embarrassed at home by Wisconsin. The problem with this game is that some supporters will believe that this is a turning point, only to be disappointed and brought back to reality with a thud.
This could totally be a turning point though. I think its gonna come down to what the rest of January brings. Go 2-1 and we are still in it. 1-2 and we are in bad shape. 0-3 and its over. Iowa is the easiest of the three, we need this win. Its not a must win, but its important. No game is unwinnable.
Assume you read this from bottom to top. What does the phrase "At a time! One Step" mean?
This is actually a good test for us. Iowa is just as desperate for a win as we are. We'll see who wants it more and which coach has their team the most prepared.
