Trojans were picked as the preseason favorites in the OVC. They're 3-3 overall with their 3 wins at home over NAIA Arkansas Baptist as well as at UTSA and at Tulsa. Their 3 losses were at Winthrop and Arkansas State and they just lost at Arkansas last night by 12. They'll also face Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday night at home.

Their head coach Darrell Walker is a Chicago native who played his high school ball at Corliss in the late 1970s before playing in college at Arkansas in the early 1980s. He later got drafted by the Knicks in the 1st round of the 1983 draft and ended up having a 10 year NBA career.

After playing a couple teams in the 300s (deep quad 4), this is a borderline quad 3 team. No where near the BIG teams, but a much better cupcake. Hopefully this is a tune-up game where they work on some things and get a comfortable double digit win.

Things are about to change --projected to have 12 Q1 games on the schedule.
