No he didn't. Will was sick and played very little. Don’t think Tre played much either.

I'm so ready for this one. KJ struggled mightily today, but the great thing about this time team, it could be anyone tomorrow. I believe we had Hummer and Rrilwy guarding Queen last time around, won't be the case this time.

haha I had that thought as well…but that Maryland game was the beginning of the spiral this year. Combine that with years past torture…I want this one. And frankly think it’s our toughest MATCHUP the rest of the way even if we played MSU

Gotta keep the bigs out of foul trouble. Excited to see how we look with Tomi now as we were clearly overmatched inside the first matchup. Can we please keep Reese from another career game against us?

This may have been already addressed over the past two weeks.........

I'd really like to know who installed this stellar "cutting through the lane offense" when we're running 5-Out. In my view, it's the best offense I've seen an Illini squad run since Bruce Weber and the 2004-05 ball movement offense.

It sure beats the "bomb 30+ 3-pointers/game offense" that we employed during the first 28 games of the season! Ingenious. It looks frickin marvelous!!!!!!

Insiders, who's the staff member most responsible?

There isn't a team in the conference that we match up worse against. Any team that has bouncy, athletic bigs we're going to struggle against. Any team that has super athletic guards, we're going to struggle against. Maryland has both.

If KJ plays like he did tonight (on both ends), we're in a for a long night. He's going to have a world of issues staying in front of the Maryland guards.

This was their minutes distribution last game without Tomi and Will only playing about 20 minutes. We lost the rebounding battle by 1 but TO were 16/7 in favor of Maryland.

They take very good care of the basketball but that offense can stall. Keep the TO low and I believe we win this game.

We can outlast them, they have very little depth who actually contribute.

I am feeling optimistic about tomorrow.

Iowa played like one of those Wednesday teams that make a run to Sunday. They shot out of their minds. I think they were hanging 90 on just about anyone they played today. And not many teams in the BIG have the firepower to beat them if they play like that. So we ran into a bit of a buzz saw.

But so did they. We out buzz sawed them tonight. I think we play all but maybe 2-3 BIG teams thats a 25 point win.

I think we’ve turned a corner and Maryland is about to find out what a buzz saw we are.
