At home against a team that will likely have lost 5 straight? I hope not.

My concern is, with the 55-10 thrashing MD got today at the hands of on-fire IU (sounds familiar) they'll play harder to salvage some pride. We, on the other hand, have our ticket punched and could take our foot off the gas. Washington is a game we should have won. I don't wanna see Maryland be another one, another embarrassing half-step performance.

The toughest of the remaining 3. Win this one and things start feeling good around here again. You could tell there was a little less “zip” in the stadium today. Hope the crowd and student section comes out fired up.
I actually think Northwestern(sucks) is the toughest remaining game. They have a better overall and much better B1G record thus far. MD should be a W and pretty comfortably as long as we bring our A game again like we did today. We should destroy Wisky (which will be fun, especially as I'm sure Brett and many others remember what happened last time we played there). But yeah, we better be very prepared for NW as it will be the difference between a good and great season for us, and they just might be playing to get into a bowl game.

KFord has it:

56 Maryland
57 Northwestern
61 Rutgers
63 Wisconsin

They’re all pretty equal. A-games aren’t always guaranteed in college football, but if we bring ours, we win out.

From Robert’s post game article ($), here’s a few of the offenses we’ve played so far this year:

USC - #1 in offensive efficiency nationally
Ohio State - #3
Indiana - #6
Washington - #8
Rutgers - #26

And here the offensive rankings of our final 3 opponents:

Maryland - #93
Wisconsin - #125
Northwestern - #68

I have a feeling our defense is going to look a whole lot better to close out the season.

If the Maryland QB doesnt get hurt in college, he will be in the NFL one day. This kid has talent, just not surrounded by very good players at Maryland.

I said before the defense will finish strong and that’ll be the reason to bring back Henry. It’ll be similar to 2 years ago when everyone wanted BL fired. If the defense finishes strong and finishes middle of the pack no way Brett gets rid of his guy Ahen

Agree with the latter point. We have shown the ability to play solid defense, but we haven't shown the ability to do it consistently. If we can do that, then you can make a case for Ahen to come back. I'm a little skeptical this will happen.
