Sometimes in business its left cruel to just be honest and to ahen we appreciate what for what you have done to this point but its in illini best interest to move in another direction that allows our team to continue to move in the upward trajectory you may become a great defensive coordinator some day but it may help your development to move down a level to keep getting in the experience and work as a DC but it won't be here

we agree....northwestern always a tough game and their mobile quarterback could give the defense problems.
While I agree with this, Maryland does have a pretty decent defense. You have to put pressure on their q.b. He is young but he has shown explosiveness in the run game and some accuracy when allowed time to survey the field. I think Maryland is better than Rutgers. I think we beat them but we have to play 4 qtrs. 31-17 is my early take.

That Maryland QB will be an NFL player one day. He oozes good if you watch him play . And he is only gonna be better and better .

Unlike Wisconsin, Maryland has never been a BIG football power. I could see them moving on, even in a year when other jobs make the MD and Wisky jobs pale in comparison. What does MD have to lose?

FWIW, he'll earn $6mm this season and the buyout is ~$13mm. Don't know whether MD boosters care enough about football to raise the scratch and get rid of him now. Not the greatest market this fall for a school where few support football hiring a coach with sufficient experience and cred to build something better.

As you and I know from firsthand experience with them, getting Twerps fans to care about football will take quite a bit of improvement.
