I'm familiar with Maryland, I lived nearby for several years and still in the mid Atlantic area. The Northern VA, DC, Maryland produces a ton of talent. But UNC, Duke and others are the preferred schools. They are Rutgers IMHO, but think they are UVa in academics and near UNC in athletics. They are not, their national championship was built on non-McAA veteran talent who developed into top college, border NBA talent. We need to start beating them like we should.

Just got down to Champaign an hour ago, getting ready for tip off. Discovered a very tasty beer from Urbana (I know), Riggs is good stuff!

Edit PS - First game since graduation in the Assembly Hall/SFC since '88. Many other sites, but not at home. Also, my daughter's, UI class of '23, first game in Champaign. Should be fun!
