My dad took me to the Michigan game at Memorial Stadium which finished with a 3-3 tie.

The Head coaches were Mike versus Bo.

Due to a recurring numbness in my middle finger today, I feel confident predicting that scUM gets that big digit tomorrow! My original score prediction stands. I'll throw in a bonus prediction of the Vols taking down Bama by 9ish (y)

I notice the intro background music is theme from "300 Spartans" movie starring Richard Egan from 1960 or so. Inspiring. Great movie, too. Sir Ralph Richardson.

300 Spartans - 1962. I was 11. Cool - or "neat" movie as we said back then.

Fighting Illini!

You know Bret wouldn’t like if I leaked out that injury info … Lol …

I’ll say this … We’ve had a good week of recovery … Get some more recovery and rest in today and we should be pretty healthy for the game …

Xavier Scott should be full go rodeo … I can say that …

That gamee was decided when the bad snap sailed over Altmyer's head. We were first and goal on their two.

Chills. I had the good fortune to spend all four undergrad years looking out my window across Peabody Drive down through Memorial Stadium to the spaceship dome. Monuments and palaces of sport both of them. Wish I could be there today. Hope BB played that ESPN tape for the boys last night.

Also comforting to see that the East Coast sportswriters were as myopic and parochial about their work in 1924 as they were in 2005 when they dismissed our Illini. And that Grange went to Philly and crammed the ball down their throats.

It’s 5-1/2 hrs to kickoff. Can’t wait. I was there in 2000 when the Illini were robbed. Revenge today on national TV. :illinois:
