Hopefully a week to get a bit healthier. The team lacks solid depth, so a week to try to get healthy is essential for the final 3 week stretch.

Any more is gravy to me. I didn't expect a bowl game this season, we're just way too thin and have no superstars except maybe Luke (who I suspect has a real sore shoulder) /Bryant/Zachari/Jacas.

It’s going to be interesting seeing the line on this one. You’re going to have a 6-3 Illinois team with some injuries against a possible 4-5 MSU team if they lose today.

We got this. At least I sure hope so…because I don’t see Bama and Notre Dame coming to our aid. Lol.
Three must-win games for me. Michigan State, because I have a friend who’s a MSU alum and calls Illinois the “Biting Illini.” Rutgers, because I live in Pennsylvania and people from New Jersey (most of them) are obnoxious (putting it gently). And Northwestern, because, well, Northwestern.

Not a terrible prediction. I could see it opening anywhere from -3.5 to -6.5 for Illinois. So many question marks for both teams going into their respective byes. Minnesota was definitely the hardest game left on the schedule, but injuries are starting to pile up for the Illini, with not a lot of high quality depth.
This game will tell a lot about how well Illini finish season. Win, and 9 wins (and nice bowl game) are still on the table. Lose, and a 6 win season and low-tier bowl are a real possibility (gulp Detroit).
We need to establish the run like we did against Nebraska. Run McCray and wear them down. I honestly wouldn’t mind if Jordan Anderson got some touches.
