I’ll predict opening line at Illinois -12.5. Minnesota has a ragtag team of transfers. 3 of their starters played at (Drake, Pitt, Utah). They are shooting 29% as a team from 3. Gabe Kalsheur who is supppsed to be a shooter is only 4/25 from 3.

I’ll say Illinois 74 Minn 56. This is a team Illinois should handle easily. Kofi should get 20/10 this game.

Should be a relatively easy game, but they have enough talent to be a problem if we come out flat. I don’t think that will happen.

lets get a winning streak going. Think we can run the table in the next ten, but realistically 8-2 or 9-1 would be solid

2 days for Underwood to find out if he can convince them to play hard.nosed basketball the entire game.

That miznoz game is going to be a catalyst for a string of victories...we should not have lost that game and the shoulder chip will be a redwood after we take a Wisky-like dip in the polls tomorrow

I think we'll stay in the top 15. Our win against Duke will soften the impact of our loss to Mizzou.

Just looked at Torvik and I saw he has us losing to Rutgers on 12/20 (but just barely and odds are 50% so basically tied). Also has us going 12-8 in B1G and 16-10 overall. I'd be pretty disappointed with that, tbh.
Yea that would be a disappointment to lose 8 B!G games....we're going to lose 4-5 conference games.....but hopefully not 8

Just double checked. That's the projected record, but if you go by the odds of each game we'd go 14-6. Much better, but im still hoping for something in the 16-4, 15-5 range as well.

Hoping for balanced scoring again, with Miller, Frazier, Monte and Giorgi representing. Forgot, how do we lose the rebound battle last game? Let's get it together it's Big10 time!

We probably couldn't have a better opener. If we lose this one, the wheels on the wagon are looking awfully wobbly.

Torvik has us going 10-0 in the next 10 BIG games.

This may have changed since you posted but as of this morning Torvik doesn't even have us favored in the next 10 B1G games let alone going 10-0. (@ Rutgers is 50% odds but -0.1 in favor of Rutgers). For reference, Torvik expects us to finish the season with only 12.3 conference wins and for Wisconsin to win the regular season with just 13.2 conference wins.

Vs Minnesota is the game Torvik has us most likely to win over the next 10 (80% odds and -8.9 point favorites) so let's make sure we really put them away.
