Let's win our next three games and get ranked. Cool? Cool.

If we're cookin enough to get to the 3rdand win (@Mich St), that streak could go a lot further than that. But one at a time. (See Florida Atlantic, last year)

Kenpom has Illinois winning by 2. Seems like that will be the line, maybe a bit more. I'll guess Illinois -2.5.

I don’t bet on a few teams (well, 2). The Steelers and the Illini. I just don’t. However, at 2.5, I’ll bet every beach house I ever own. Give me UI -2.5 ALL DAY.

My only issue with the idea of Mizzou over Rutgers is that this unique and awesome event would be done.

If St. Louis had an outdoor football stadium (although I’d honestly listen to Busch...), I’d want our football series there, too. However, I would NOT want it on the opening weekend again.

Where can I find the Missouri Board? I'd like to read what they are saying about the game. I've searched and only goofy stuff comes up.

Try tigerboard.com. I think that should get you there

I would like to see Missouri get relevant again so the game rocks like the old days. Just not under Martin.

I really think Kofi is going to have his way with Tilmon.

I really wish we had gotten Pickett. Like Goodwin those types of guys really can make a team. Damonte has it but not the scoring.

Forget the rivalry, we need this one from a resume standpoint. Yes, the rivalry brings some spice to it, but bigger than that, we need a "decent" road/neutral site win.

Missouri isn't very good, however they're decent enough to where a neutral site win would be a net positive.

This is one reason I am so sad that we are at a (TEMPORARY) spot of not being able to do the United Center game ... I mean, besides the fact that I now live in Chicago and could actually go. :) Seriously, though, we had a unique pitch to recruits (you're going to play on the Bulls' court in Chicago and in a high-profile rivalry game in St. Louis every single year, no matter what), but it also meant that we had a very decent chance at two neutral court victories vs. decent opponents every non-conference season. I think next year, it will be back.
