That seems to be an arrogant statement what have we earned exactly?

4 straight wins, and 12 out of the last 16. I don't know, is that enough?

This was a more even matchup before 2000, but even in the early years we led the series 11-8.

Mizzou has never led the series. They've never won more than 4 straight. Worse yet, every time they've played they've had to endure the humiliation of wearing uniforms that say Mizzou on the front.

My teenage daughter has a boyfriend whose parents went to Mizzou. He gave my daughter one of his shirts to wear...a Mizzou t-shirt. I told her to give it back to him.

Then, the other day, she asked if he could come over to watch a movie this Saturday...I said no.

I love my daughter, but she needs to learn right from just plain frickin' wrong.

I don’t know you, but I can tell you’re an awesome parent. Good job! She’s gotta learn. Sizzou Mucks!

This should be a game to see how guys feed off crowd. Convert TO to layups, and make sure they count. Fouls please keep under control, we get into foul trouble, it will be a big problem. Love to see Black and Finke go off on Mizznoz tonight.
We stay within ourselves, get good game rythmn we could run them over. This game shows us who we are right now. Love to see 90 points, and hold them in 70's. Bring it home guys. ;):illinois:

I like your thinking.

Is Mizzou better than UNLV? I haven't seen much of Mizzou this year, but have watched UNLV a couple of times and I think I would give the edge to UNLV. To me it seems like we match up to them in a similar manner. So my thinking is that if we can keep fouls to a reasonable level and don't give up a big lead early, we have a real shot.

I wonder if the refs will let them play or if they will call it tight early because it is a rivalry game and they want to keep things under control.

BTW, a website I watch for D2 info and rankings, has predicted Illinois by 1.4.

If we can avoid the drought we seem to get every game and limit our fouls then we should have a decent shot at winning this game..

I hope we play some zone on defense as I think it helps our transition game immensely....pressure D will rattle misery some, but we have to be on target shooting the ball to prevail...we can dominate at times during the game and conversely be dominated so effort and hustle are adamant to staying in the game with decided height disadvantage we have...

Illini 79
misery 74
