Turned on PTI for the first time in ages. Both Tony and Michael were giving their tourney picks. Lo and behold, Wilbon picks us to win it all and has nothing but nice things to say about TSJ, comparing him to Melo with his ability to take over a game. Did not have that Northwestern alum riding with us on my bingo card, but here we are.

These are experienced 5th year players. You can tell they and the coaching staff are playing loose and enjoying the moment.

I think this bodes well for the NCAA tourney. We were playing tight in 2021. Pressure of #1 seed, Covid-19 limited fans, first time in NCAA for players. Brad went to NCAA 3x at SFA and 1x at OK State. But now he has had 5 more games at Illinois. The national TV is nothing new.

When Coleman makes boneheaded plays and complains to the officials. We do not like it period, but then in the next 60 seconds. He hustles down court and he gets his arm up to 12 feet and pins a freaking ball against the backboard! He makes a phenomenal basketball play period. We love you regardless. We all make mistakes. Nobody can be perfect. No ball player is perfect.
We love you for the special things you do. And for being a University of Illinios FightingIllini, plain and simple. You've brought so much to the program. Dedication loyalty, and hopefully you do it again next year. So you can be a top 15 Pick in the draft and make 10 million more dollars than you will this year. But the fact is, these are the type of questions you say move on. You do not need to answer or justify some stupid question. Go get em Cohawk. #2024natty

I have the same issue. I’m vacationing this week and next and hope to have that issue 4 times. Some wise person on the board suggested a 10 day free trial of You Tube TV, which includes DVR capabilities. Exactly what I needed, a streaming DVR option. I just signed up, and was able to just pick the Illini as my team and all games should be recorded automatically. Looks like I can even download it for offline viewing, which could be handy.

I watched some analysis of Morehead State. They are a deliberate team with lots of sets.

Illini are going to have to play disciplined D and watch out for back screens and back cuts.

Stop Minix and Lathan. I’m guessing Hawkins and TSJ guard them??

Go Illini!!!! Let’s get it
