Really hoping for the late session as I will on a plane that morning
Texas tech went 2-0 vs BYU. So Ik by metrics BYU is the better 6 seed, but conventional wisdom says no.

Could happen potentially, especially with Chicago such a big and important media market. Though with Iowa State the higher seed, I could see them getting in the evening session.
I have seen BYU a couple of times. They are a team that could cause problems. It might take 100 to beat them.

He's a bit longer and more post-oriented, but there's a lot of Marcus Domask in Riley Minix, Morehead State's stud.
Very crafty well-rounded basketball player. Big time rebounder. Just a guy who wins battles around the rim.
They're also an extremely low tempo team. We're in trouble if we play at their pace, can't allow that to happen.
They have a 7-footer on the bench but their starters are super small, no one over 6'7"

BYU is a solid team but we are a matchup nightmare for them defensively. One game at a time, beat Morehead State. Really good region and while having Uconn as the one sucks, could see them being upset before the elite 8. I wanted Iowa State over any of the other 2s as well-great defense, but their offense is shaky
They were not in the conference very long. During Ja Morant years, they were pretty decent.
They were in the OVC 15 years. Didn't make the NCAA Tournament until late in their time in the conference and had any sort of postseason success at that point. And Ja Morant didn't play at Jacksonville State.
Gotta give it to Lville here. Sometime after the Northwestern loss, he said we could lose 3 more games and still get a 3 seed. I didn't see it. But here we are.
