Sure, 2020 is far from a typical year, but what a difference a few years makes. ESPN wants to carry our games again, and we're no longer getting bumped to BTN+. It's a great time to follow Illinois basketball!

That did not stop early season games in previous years getting Schmack'd onto the "plus" network. I am betting at least one winds up on BTN+ and would not rule out all three landing there.
Serious question. Is it Schmack’d or Schwack? I thought it was Schwack. Either way it was brutally hilarious.

Not sure I’ve seen this posted anywhere but here is a bit of practice footage. My biggest takeaway is Kofi looks much smoother on the block and more fluid overall. Looks like the game has slowed down for him a bit.

This team should have a lot of versatility. I’m excited to see the different combinations.
They included a giorgi 3pt miss in the practice highlights? Yikes.

also, I really hope trents foot isn’t out of bounds at the 2 minute mark, I saw enough of that last season-can’t keep making that mistake this year!

It's going to be very interesting to see how Adam Miller steps up this season. He has the tools to drop 30 any game and score in many different ways. But he is a freshman and this is definitely Ayo's and Kofi's team. Will he be aggressive offensively or more of a 3pt specialist like Alan Griffin?

I hope we can put these teams away early to give the young guys more PT. Not nearly as many cupcakes as normal this season so it's important to take advantage of the ones we have.

Well we have these first games and Mizzu.

Stomped them by 31 last year, I suspect the result may be even worse this season. Was possibly Kofi's most dominate game of his freshmen campaign, excited to see what he does this time around.

In my head I just have that we will have a slow start but pull away in 2nd half
