We usually go out to eat off campus before games, but with students off campus was thinking of trying Legends or Murphy's. It's been ages since we've gone to either, trying to remember if it's OK to bring kids to dinner at either?
Yes kid friendly, but don't go to Legends I think its closed during break for renovations. I learned that the hard way Friday ha. You also might want to go to Murphy's a little earlier than you planned since the legends crowd will be there.

I think NW is better than people are giving them credit for. would have been mildly concerned with this game even if we had TSJ.

They're #58 KenPom, we're favored by 10 (although I don't know if TSJ factors in to that). I expect a good game, but even without TJ we match up very well against them.

We have done both and also PapaDels. I enjoy the students around but now I am having couple cocktails in the room at the I Hotel before going down to the bar to watch the Hawkeyes and Badgers to prep to give Boo hell from row 4!

Haven't been to Papa Del's since they were on Green Street - is it still a crazy wait during big games, or a bit more reasonable with the much larger location? I remember people used to wait 2 hours just for a table.

Still hour+ for pizza…. normally hour and a half
Lucky for me, I still have one in the freezer. I get 4 pizzas a year delivered to Springfield area once a year. NOT CHEAP but oh so worth it! They deliver anywhere by the way. This year, we enjoyed one on my birthday watching the Colgate game.

Last time they had by the slice and git in and out but wasn't as good as getting there early and having one made fresh earlier in the season. The new place is larger and much nicer. We went eat though before tailgating a few times. It is on south Neil close to the stadiums.

I expect a back and forth game with several lead changes and it coming down to the last few minutes. NEED to dominate the rebounding battle and shoot 75% plus from the free throw line. That’s our recipe to a win tonight.

why do i feel like every one of our games has been at 9pm est? tough being an illini fan with a new baby on the east coast
Heck it is even tough for a 8pm tipper for an old guy (sans baby) when it is gets dark out at 4:30pm here in Champaign.
