Outside of a 96-66 drubbing back in the '23-'24 season, Northwestern has given us some nail biters in Champaign. With this being the classic trap game I predict another single digit win for the Illini.

This team is trap game repellent plus NW really stinks. It would have to be the trap-iest of trap games.

I don't think Northwestern is good enough to be a trap game but it is definitely a look ahead type game to MSU.
Maybe I'll be wrong but I genuinely don't think Northwestern is good enough to win even if Illinois plays awful.

The Golden Years are overrated.
Honestly I think the offense looks better without him because they're getting 4 shooters on the floor at all times.
I don't think Brad would ever do this but I don't think Boswell and Stojakovic should be on the floor at the same time. Give me each one for 20 minutes at max intensity on the defensive end and driving to the basket.
Wagler, Boswell/Stojakovic, Davis/Humrichous, and 2 out of Mirkovic/Tomi/Zvonimir would be the best rotation in my opinion.
Get 4 6'6+ guys shooting 34% or better from 3 at all times paired with either Boswell or Stojakovic attacking the basket. Those lineups put a ton of pressure on teams to closeout and create a ton of space for Wagler, Boswell, or Stojakovic to attack inside.
Man...this just is not a real rivalry game. 
Northwestern just got obliterated by Washington at home.
