Honestly I think the offense looks better without him because they're getting 4 shooters on the floor at all times.

I don't think Brad would ever do this but I don't think Boswell and Stojakovic should be on the floor at the same time. Give me each one for 20 minutes at max intensity on the defensive end and driving to the basket.

Wagler, Boswell/Stojakovic, Davis/Humrichous, and 2 out of Mirkovic/Tomi/Zvonimir would be the best rotation in my opinion.

Get 4 6'6+ guys shooting 34% or better from 3 at all times paired with either Boswell or Stojakovic attacking the basket. Those lineups put a ton of pressure on teams to closeout and create a ton of space for Wagler, Boswell, or Stojakovic to attack inside.
I think Boswell might not be as good at attacking the basket when he comes back. He broke his shooting hand. That's bound to affect his ability to penetrate even if he is technically recovered in a few weeks. I think he'll basically play a few minutes when Keaton, Stojakovic, or Davis needs to come out. Play good D and handle the ball a bit.

I hope I'm wrong and he can do more than this, but I just don't think he'll legitimately be 100% any time soon.

I'm calling out Illini fans attending this game. You should at least be able to bring as much energy as the Corn Flakes did today.

Make the House of Paign live again!
Their crowd, as well as Purdue's, was electric. Hope we bring that kind of energy.

And...can we just bury these guys and not let them hang around?

Was difficult for me to say it first, but this is a PRETTY DECENT TAKE.

While neither KB nor AS can shoot from distance, both are really strong at going to the hoop, both play really good defense, and they both shoot over 80% from the FT line. Overall we have really good depth and breadth in our top 8 guys.

NOTE: Kylan won't have much time to get his game back up to speed, once he returns.

Northwestern just got obliterated by Washington at home.

I think this looks like the home game last year (minus the super lackluster ending).
NU played real hard in Evanston and made it a close game. With how their season is going, I am hoping their mentality is gone from their first meeting.

I would love for Illinois to cover this game.

I do worry a little about Keaton getting worn down playing heavy minutes while being the focus of scouting reports.

Bos coming back should give him some breathers. Whatever you lose in shooting with less Jake/Ben, you gain in defense, shot creation, and passing.

Northwestern is bad. Illinois is Final Four legit. We're gonna kick their asses in front of a rabid crowd.

Come at me "trap game" doomers

My guess is this one is a comfort game team W. We actually hit shots at home and rebound, Wagler sub 20 and 5 in double figures.

Michigan State game next scares me though, ..... they will look to hurt Wagler. I've see it too many times, when Michigan State is out matched that's their "plan".

Martinelli is a baller and Reid is a tough matchup for us, especially without Kylan.

Think it’s uncomfortably close for a while but ultimately they can’t score with us and we pull away 84-71.
