Yes Tyler should toot his horn. Crocker the same. Brad has put together a great staff. Could Tyler get some head coaching position at a smaller school? There are two teams that could give us trouble. Az and Michigan. UConn could as well. I thought the brothers gave Nb a lot of trouble yesterday. Plus the women beat a top 25 team on the road .

Honestly I think the offense looks better without him because they're getting 4 shooters on the floor at all times.

I don't think Brad would ever do this but I don't think Boswell and Stojakovic should be on the floor at the same time. Give me each one for 20 minutes at max intensity on the defensive end and driving to the basket.

Wagler, Boswell/Stojakovic, Davis/Humrichous, and 2 out of Mirkovic/Tomi/Zvonimir would be the best rotation in my opinion.

Get 4 6'6+ guys shooting 34% or better from 3 at all times paired with either Boswell or Stojakovic attacking the basket. Those lineups put a ton of pressure on teams to closeout and create a ton of space for Wagler, Boswell, or Stojakovic to attack inside.
My hope was KB would really improve the shooting this season. I believe he shot 37% from 3 at Arizona, but at IL the jumper’s tanked.

Tyler was not really ready when handed the reins of offense, but mad props to him for being a great student of the game and a quick learner. He has definitely grown into the job.

Z needs more minutes. His presence on the defensive side while also being able to knock down the 3 ball.
I told my son during the game that the twins were intimidating Nebraska shooters and during the post game interview their coach said his offensive scheme was affected. He said “I think their length in the paint bothered us”. 😆

Big Z and Tomi are great for our team.

Probably my second favorite play of the game (behind swipe left) was when Z got about 14 foot in the air to block a floater, caught the blocked shot, and threw it off the Nebraska player out of bounds so possession went to Illini. Those dudes are simply quick twitch

I haven't paid any attention to Dusty May before that interview. I liked his style. Didn't back away from the question, but didn't go all stupid whiny either.

Making me miss Howard all over again
There is some stuff going around Twitter that big ten coaches aren't thrilled with May. He's pretty blatant about tampering, not sure the validity.

My guess is this one is a comfort game team W. We actually hit shots at home and rebound, Wagler sub 20 and 5 in double figures.

Michigan State game next scares me though, ..... they will look to hurt Wagler. I've see it too many times, when Michigan State is out matched that's their "plan".
Sad but true......

Izzo's gonna sic the Goon squad on Wagler. If that doesn't work, Fears Jr will flop a couple phantom fouls out of the refs. My prediction is that KW will be riding the bench with either a concussion or foul trouble. Wish we had a Lucas Johnson type on this team to rumble with Izzo's thugs!
