I have no idea what it could be, he was pumping it like it was something decently big. But I'm guessing its something like a throwback uni that they've never worn.

We have several big contributors (most of which are guards) who are still new to the program. The teams didn't get to workout over the summer together so it's not a typical season and things are going to click for us later than they normally would. We've seen flashes of what this team can do when things click, they just click inconsistently right now, in my opinion, due to only about 3-4 months of playing together.

People act like coaches don't want to win. It always marvels me how quick we are to call for someone new to start after just seeing a small sample size of game film. Heck, people were scared Trent and Giorgi would leave for the NBA after 1 year of watching them.

Agreed, though I'd hesitate to call it a "situation". Anyone clamoring for Hawkins to get DMW's tick is delusional and should be relentlessly bullied. You know, like DMW's matchups.

Gosh I’m nervous about this game. Win and I feel like we are right back in the hunt. Lose... and I think things start to slip a bit for us in terms of national standing, confidence, etc.

So which team is going to show up? Maryland Illinois, or 2nd half NU Illinois?
