He is, by percentage, the best three point shooter on the roster in big ten play (31%). Everyone else is below 30%."We" didn't necessarily mean "every individual on the team."
In the game thread on Thursday night someone mentioned he was on the bench. If that’s not correct, my bad.He didn't travel to Nebby so what traveling are you referring to?
Not sure how Fletch protects the spleen? He can keep TI hydrated, he can make sure he's comfortable, keep the muscles in some sort of shape, but ultimately....it's a virus that effects an organ. He's an extraordinarily good trainer, but he's not a virologist.I'm pretty sure if any of us had Fletch access during and after mono, our recovery arc would look incredibly different.
If Brad wanted to talk about someone who wasn't a very good player, he only needed to mention the guy that sits next to him on the bench. Yeah, that guy, Tyler Underwood. Making matters worse, TU doesn't seem to be much of a coach either.Piper's question was fair. Very fair and w/out an agenda. BU initial response was right and accurate. Him going on a personal attack was not cool. Piper strikes me as a straight forward honest person, BU owes him an apology.
Was piper the one he was taking shots at after the Nebraska loss in the presser? Something about even he could have made those open shots and he heard how bad he was a basketball? I couldn’t tell who he was talking to.come on Brad, stiill bashing Piper?
Welp, cottage cheese it is.
It's much easier than writing and posting a strongly worded letter to management.I like how people as strangers are taking Brad's comments way more personally than Piper is. Those guys have actually known each other for years and have a personal relationship. If people heard some of the stuff my friends say to each other they might think they were worst enemies.
Go BIG or go home. That’s all ya gotta know.My pregnant wife had a random craving for cottage cheese while we were grocery shopping today and I was well prepared to ask her all kinds of questions about curd size preference thanks to this board.
Mono can set some people back for months. With mono, there are two issues. 1)As you noted, feeling better is obviously a big deal. If you feel like crap, regardless of illness, you can't play. However, there's 2)how is the spleen? When I had it, that was always the concern. There's feeling better, then there's being better.
That's leads us to 3)what type of shape is he in? Assuming 1 and 2 are resolved, thank heavens, getting to a point where he's playing high level ball in front of 15,000+....where's he at?
I'm not asking if you know this, it's just my train of thought when dealing with something like this. It's just one of those crummy illnesses that takes time to resolve itself. That said, I can't say that I've ever personally known a world class athlete with cutting edge technology taking care of anyone daily.
I really hope he can be back in the next couple of weeks, but more importantly free of the illness regardless of basketball.
DGL?99% chance there's a different starting lineup Sunday
I repeat my question from days ago ,, if he is so sick why is traveling all over with the team???No to say I told you so but one week ago . . . "A lot of co-eds miss a whole semester when they get it. Sleep 16-18 hours a day, loss of appetite and guaranteed weight loss."
His twin was there in black sweats ???In the game thread on Thursday night someone mentioned he was on the bench. If that’s not correct, my bad.
We can only hope!DGL?
Not sure how to read this. Do you also have a wife or wives that aren't pregnant? My pregnant wife had a random craving for cottage cheese while we were grocery shopping today and I was well prepared to ask her all kinds of questions about curd size preference thanks to this board.

He's feeling way better. It won't be a season ender
It is just a weird illness and impacts everyone differently. At some point I know I felt very normal during the hours I was awake, I just had to sleep a lot still. Now whether he'll be 100% on the court during that stage, I sort of doubt it. But I'm sure he is getting much more professional attention than the none that I had during the recovery as far as diet and exercise. And given the lack of other 7 footers on the team, 75% percent of normal Tomislav might really help this team. I could see him come back with very managed minutes even if he still needs to sleep a lot. I suspect the classwork stuff will be taken care of somehow.I just don't get why, if he is sleeping 16 hours a day, he is traveling with the team and shooting half-courters before the game. No way he is getting his 16 hours of sleep on travel days.
Jeez, maybe we’ll win by 60.Ohio State has wins over Purdue and Kentucky this year. They are def capable of some good play. They’ve also lost to Maryland and Auburn by 30+. Never know what you will get from them.

Right now they are marching off a cliff and are NOT gonna stick the landing.Someone mentioned that this team is "built for March." My question: Which March?
