After seeing a completely unknown Jack Sikma in the state tournament, I remember Harv Schmidt saying that he would be at Sikma house the next morning. Sikma played for a tiny high school and preferred a small college but we definitely offered
I watched the St Anne game before Porta played game 2 in Champaign and Sikma broke the rebound record with 24 which was broke the next game by Kevin Washington with 27. Sikma chose to stay small school but he could have done well at Illinois.

Three team race at this point. No way tOSU makes it through 6 games without a loss, IMO, and no way one of Purdue, Illinois, and Wisconsin doesn't finish with 5 (or 4) losses.
OSU has 4 games in 8 days the last week, really hard to win out. They will have 7 loses by the end of the season.

There is an excellent chance Rutgers gets the double bye rather than OSU.

Have heard from a reliable source that the coaching staff is rethinking their "head first" box out and defensive positioning techniques
We have historically been really good about injuries in Underwood's tenure. Unless we made a significant change to our techniques in the off season, I would bet this injury bug is mostly bad luck as opposed to being technique related.

Marble jr. jumped up and over BBV swinging his arm and hand directly into BBV's face ........should have been a Flagrant 1............................jmho

OSU plays at a pretty slow pace. And they are playing even slower on the road. They will try to make it a half court game, keep the crowd out of it, and feed Liddell as much as possible. Just don't let anyone else go off and we should be good. Trent should be able to make it tough on Branham. I'm a little worried about Plummer guarding Wheeler though.

Might be a good time to insert RJ and AC any time they are successful at slowing the pace AND being more successful at that than us.

Eh. Gotta disagree, Pru. It was incidental with two large humans going for the ball. No call was the right call.
Hey that's cool, but the whole deal about the flagrant foul thing was any contact to the head
Intent was not to be factored in
I just gave my opinion
Doesn't matter now but that's a pretty nasty shiner that BBV has along with a concussion for it to be incidental contact

Incidental is getting harder and harder these days

And I offered a different opinion to yours. 🙂

I’m trying to find a replay of the hit, but I thought live Marble’s finger got BBV across the face.

Hopefully BBV isn’t out long.
