The pessimist/worrier in me is thankful that this one is in Champaign and can't get the terrifying recent memories of playing these guys out of my head.

The optimist in me thinks that any team that can let Indiana control the game vs. them on their home court isn't walking into the House of 'Paign and beating this year's Everyday Guys. I'll throw in my guess for our ranking, too:

#11 Illinois 86
Penn State 72

We NEED to shore up our post defense or Nederhauser and Hicks will eat us alive down low. The good news is that Penn State doesn't have much in the way of depth up front, so if we can get both of these guys in foul trouble, we'll be cruising. The bad news is that our guys have not done well against big post players, and the 250 pound 7 foot Nederhauser is definitely that. He's their second leading scorer.

A heavy big man? Does this mean we might be able to get a ton of open 3's?

I sure hope so. My concern is mostly when Penn State have the ball. I don't think we should have too many issues scoring if we shoot halfway decently and take care of the basketball.

We held Osobor well below his season averages in points, rebounds and assists tonight.
