I approach this game with much trepidation as the ru qb1 has played us tough the last times he faced us........a post above stated he doesn't run that much but that's really not the way I remember it......maybe my amazing wake and bake is clouding my feeble memory banks but it seems we have had a hard time corralling this qb in.........it took a last ditch miracle catch and run by Mr. Altmyer and Mr. Bryant to stave off a defeat.....wasn't it also an ill-advised timeout call by Schiano to even get to the Luke to Pat miracle score.......??????.............
I'll never predict an Illini loss no matter who we play but I got a feeling this will be a nail-biter especially with our helpless looking at times defense playing the same scheme as the last few days....
my advice to Mr. Henry is to play a 5 man front with blitz's coming every 3-4 plays instead of this no contact different time zone coverage........this game supposedly starts the easy part of our conference play......I don't believe that for a second......if we continue to play these next 4 games like the last few games then we will be very disappointed and maybe not qualify for even a miniscule variety bowl game...........color me worried at the level of our play and predict.........................
