Now that everyone has 60+ inch TVs out in the parking lots streaming the game with all the food and booze you can handle, it’s especially tough to draw people inside to watch the carnage.

You gotta drink to watch the Illini play, and you can’t drink in the stadium.

If Syracuse can be Clemson....come on Illini stick it to Rutgers tomorrow!

The party definitely keeps rolling in Lot 42 during the game. It’s a struggle to convince the family to go into the stadium... at least the kids like seeing the Marching Illini, or I might be spending a lot of games by myself in the stands. :D

Expecting a crowd of 35k. Wish they would have a way of filling the stands.

Stop playing games at 11 AM. What time do students get up on a Saturday morning these days? And if you have to drive 3+ hours from out of state just to get there like I do, that means you have to stay at a Holiday Inn Express in Tuscola the night before (just to find a vacancy). Very inconvenient.

Predicting a loss to Rutgers in the battle for 13th place.....in front of 31,500 fans.

I'm especially discouraged --- or perhaps jealous? ---- by the immediate success we're seeing at Syracuse (Babers), Minnesota (Fleck), Purdue (Brohm) and Virginia Tech (Fuente). Too bad these guys weren't available when we were shopping for a new coach!

I'm not sure if anyone was watching the pregame show before the Nebraska game, but one of the Analysts commented........"there's just no buzz around the Illinois program."

Prove me wrong today! GO ILLINI!!

We have become so very irrelevant.
