It’s kind of hilarious thinking about what this team would be if Wagler was supposed to be a scout player his first year like he was expected to be when he committed. Here’s to hoping there aren’t many games left with Wagler in foul trouble.

In general, it's why I mostly stay out of game threads. Posters tend to severely overreact to any negative occurrence, and it snowballs with pile-ons.
To some, when you win, you’re making the F4. When you lose, you’re not going to make it past the first round.

It’s a long season. Over the course of that season, you’ll have good games and bad games. Games you’re the underdog in and win. Games you’re the favorite in and lose. Games where you can’t miss and games where can’t make a shot.

No use in getting overly worked up over every individual game. This is a solid, top 10’sh team. We’re going to win a lot of games this year, but will likely lose a couple more too.

Suffice it to say this is not one of those wins lol

They are bad. We are at home. This one should be easy. 20-30+ definitely should be the margin.

Hello friend 😁

I do agree with your post. I just feel, like myself, there are many of us who see our flaws and know they will catch up to us come tourney time. We may get favorable matchups or we may have a couple hot shooting nights, but that historically hasn't been the case for us come round of 32.

Winning is always better than losing though. And I certainly could be better at reminding myself how much worse we could have it. We’re starving for another deep run in March but some of us should enjoy the regular season success we’ve had lately along the way more than we do.

Have to take this game to get Tomi on track. I’d also like to see us get back to attacking inside out and getting guys stepping into threes more. If there was a disappointment from last night, I thought we reverted to passing around the perimeter too much.

We are so much better offensively when we attack and kick.

I didn't get the chance to watch the game live, but saw highlights. It seemed Illinois had control of this game from the get-go.

PSU got it to single digits for a few minutes, but then it seemed the Illini kept it in the 10 - 14 range for most of the game until the end.

I am assuming why Indy was upset is that the Illini shot unnecessary three-pointers, which kept the game from being a blow out.

I do wish when having a lead (or whenever in the game), BU draws a plan to post the Twins for easy baby hook baskets or an easy fan out for an open shot.
