I’m getting a raging clue that Gabe’s coming back. If these MF’ers put Gabe in the new lids release and he doesn’t stick around that’s just kinda ouchy.

They’re damn beautiful. Some may not like them and I think they’re overdone but tons of us thread geeks were begging. Bret knew exactly what he was doing. I love this man for our program. He gets it.

Hopefully that means things are trending positive in our efforts to retain JC Davis for next season. Anyone have an update?
Illini Inquirer with the intel. Bret flew out to Oakland Sunday and spent Christmas Eve with JC and the Davis family…made his pitch for another year and said he won’t rush JC on a decision…the NFL decision deadline is Jan 15.

The Illini have risen to the occasion many times this year as underdogs! Never got any respect! Got to Orlando and kick South Carolina's !!!! Then give the finger to all those so-called experts!

Orlando street view update: So far I have yet to see an influx of orange and blue or big adult chickens here. Maybe people will start coming in today or tomorrow? Sorta surprising. *shrugs*

Win or lose vs. SC this team has won my heart and admiration. The players are 1st class guys who come across as smart and personable,in addition to being fine players.Josh, coach B and all asst. coaches exude class that makes me proud to be an Illini supporter.Winning and seeing good people suceed is very rewarding.Happy holidays to my fellow Illini friends and lets get that 10th win.

Not winning this game, but the bar is to make it a game. If it's like Oregon, or the Citrus Bowls of the past few years, that's a bit disappointing but we have to acknowledge the opponent is a hefty tier or two above Illinois regardless.

Probably going to be some stories from this trip…

Yeah, we won't have to worry about frozen fingers or dropped balls. And the Citrus Bowl is always one of the best. I wish we had Patrick, but I expect a strong game from Altmyer just the same.
