Both of those games are winnable. It’s not even January yet, lots can change from now until we have to worry about either of them. Just keep stacking wins.

I wasn’t insinuating that those games aren’t winnable, just that both of those teams are good enough to beat us even if we play a game like last night.
We should cook the noodles too before the Southern game.
It'll be my son's first time attending an Illini game at SFC, so we will be there early and we will be loud. 3rd row seats baby!
BTN has games on all day on Monday, starting with Penn State at Noon. Games after us involve Iowa, Rutgers, and Minnesota.
Iowa scares me. They get past them, then it can real nice streak.

Southern has been defeated by such powerhouses as the Fighting Tent Revivalists of mighty California Baptist. I'm confident we can take our next opponent in a fair fight. Their odds are about the same as speeding drug boats fleeing the US Navy. I am looking for us to play with the focused intensity we brought to the Mizzou beat down, to help cement that as our standard of play as we enter into the main B10 schedule. Also, let's get everyone some meaningful minutes, even Petro, who has mostly been super glued to the pines.

UW was missing super freshman 4/5 Steinbach for this game. And one of their better guards Zoom Diallo fouled out in the first OT.
That being said Southern shot 37% from 3 that game and had balanced scoring from Jacobs, Amboree and Dixon Jr. also had 23 points off their bench.
If we take them lightly we will be at risk.
But UW is disorganized and plays a lot of hero ball. We should be able to do better.
Oh boy, I can't wait for the first five minutes of the game to appear on streaming only.
Southern should’ve absolutely won their game against UW. They were up five with 24sec remaining.
