Kylan Boswell is the only one who can match the physicality that Tennessee brings.

Gonna be a long night watching Illinois get bumped off their spots while we lazily chuck 3s because we don't want to play physically.
It's gonna take a 37% shooting percentage from 3 to win this one.

We are incredibly one dimensional offensively.

Back off Mirk, let him shoot himself out of the game. Bring help and jump him off the bounce. He over dribbles...

Play Wagler physically, he can't handle it (yet). Key on his spin, get a steal

Back off Andrej, bring help on his drives...he is completely unwilling to pass en route to the basket.

Petro-Be overly physical, he'll turn it over.

Kylan- Go under on every screen....make him be a 3 pt shooter.

Prove me wrong Brad....
This is painfully true

Lot of woe is me pansy bs in here for this one... par for course when Illini are coming off a loss (no matter quality of opponent)

77-70 good guys prevail

ILL!
Not quite. We're coming off two really bad losses to ranked opponents, during both of which we demonstrated a distinct lack of toughness and a completely one-dimensional offensive game. Could we bounce back and beat a Tennessee team that showed quite a few weaknesses up in Syracuse? Sure, but misrepresenting fans' legit skepticisms after the way we've played recently doesn't make said fans "pansy."

Now that our team is apparently healthy, it's time to win one of these high-level non-conference games. The win over Texas Tech was nice, but the loss to UConn bordered on embarrassing, and the loss to Alabama in our backyard (Chicago) was disappointing.
Well... Jason is out with a concussion if that matters.

This is right where I am and this is all correct.

I'll add to this that our entire front court cannot move their feet. Take them off the dribble and you'll either get fouled or blow by them. Z will bite on every pump fake, hit him with one and you'll get to the line. Make us shoot. We'll most likely miss, but if we do make it, just tip your cap and and know you'll get a good look on the other end.

If we make 3's we'll win tonight though...

Don't go 20 something percent from 3 and be sharper and more in sync on defense. The guys do that we got a good chance to win. Vols got holes on offense and we saw that in their lost to Syracuse.
