Stopped by the sports book at golden nugget. The guy said he had not had a single ucla bet all day but had a lot of money on the Illini! He was wearing an Illini shirt, so maybe he was a little prejudiced
Thanks for reminding me of the West Virginia game where people tried to rationalize getting beat by 30 points because we had no chance of matching up with a team that finished the season ranked 13th and had one 2nd round draft pick.
There is absolutely nothing that has happened in the past is going to affect the outcome of this game.
My sister, who does not follow any sports, is in LV for a long weekend. She told me there is Orange & Blue (and not the Virginia kind) everywhere. I told that she should go to the game. She said it's probably full....of Illini fans!
