Yes, but it gives Klingan the ability to guard Dain and clog the paint which we don’t really want and I don’t think Dain has much success against Klingan- I don’t think this is a Dain game. It has to be a Goode game I think when we take out Ty
Since Uconn is playing this Klingon, I hope Brad can pull a Wookie out of the portal so we don't face this kind of mismatch next season.

I think the UConn juggernaut stuff is overblown. They didn't play a super tough schedule (non-conf: 283rd, overall: 38th) and two of those losses they got blown out.

I'm giving us more of a chance than most and ESPN's BPI gives us a 1 in 4 chance to win which seems plenty reasonable to me. So, let's do it. 🤟

I'd say we have a 5-10% chance of winning today, but the odds were much lower when we were down 13 to Arizona with 3 to play. LET'S GO TO A FINAL FOUR!
Nooooo way my man. It’s an 8 point spread in an NCAA tourney game. That is well beyond a 5-10% chance. We undoubtedly are a dog and I’m not expecting a dub because UConn is truly fantastic but we have beyond a punchers chance here

Honestly this near 24/7 talk of how trash our defense is may be helping us. May not be the case against UConn but against ISU they did not look prepared at the start of the game for us to have that much focus on that end. They looked like a team early that kept hearing they could get whatever they want on that end and shot as if they believed it.

I’m going to say UConn let’s this get to their head early and we get a strong start. From there we go back and forth until a late and 1 from TSJ seals it at 88-86 for the beloved.

You pull Clingan away from the hoop and it becomes a lot easier to grab OREB
Then it has to be TSJ, Domask, Hawkins, QG, and Goode. Harmon and DGL off the bench. I would try that if I were Brad. I hope QG to hit a few more threes this game.

FWLIW, I feel as though there's more people out there cheering for us & against uconn. At the same time most think we don't have a chance.
I have a good feeling about this game. uconn has not been pushed/tested like we have. All of our close games play to our favor. Have to think the media attention is making the huskies overconfident. Our guys are having fun and appear very relaxed. We have nothing to lose. Let's go out and shock the world.

My heart: 88-87 Illinois. We trail by 11 half, storm back to tie it at the 5 min mark. Two momentum shifting corner 3’s from Harman. Game goes to the wire. 33 for TSJ, big game from Ty.

My head: 88-76 UConn. We trail by 11 at half. We make a run to cut it to 5/6 at the 8 min mark, but can never quite get over the hump. A few late back breaking threes and UConn rolls on. Our moral victory is that we kept it under 13.
Go with your heart. It's allergy season -- that's probably just sinus congestion and post-nasal drip your getting from your head.

UConn sits at a very impressive 34-3. FWIW, these are the three (NCAAT seed as the ranking):

12/1 - L 65-69 at #4 Kansas
12/20 - L 60-75 at (NIT) Seton Hall
2/20 - L 66-85 at #3 Creighton

Only other somewhat close wins since the Creighton loss:

3/6 - W 74-67 at #2 Marquette
3/15 - W 95-90 vs. (NIT) St. John’s (Big East Tournament)

Judging by how many points we often score, I hope we took notes of whatever St. John’s did!
