I'm going retro here. In 2005, we followed-up the amazing & emotional Arizona Elite 8 "Dick Enberg" game (which I consider similar to the UCLA comeback victory this past Friday night) with an easy victory over Louisville in the National semi-finals. I'll go with something similar here.

Enjoying these games! Would be interesting to see how Goode would impact these games as well. We have a great opportunity for a very special season, and it will be interesting to see it all unfold.
Also fun to see: Underwood’s decision making and adjusting in games seems to have progressed greatly over the last couple of years. Always been a fan, but I used to get so frustrated when it would seem like we would come out doing the exact same thing after half time when the plan didn’t work in the first half. We have ourselves a true coach, assistant coaches (including AF but we always knew that one), and a well rounded team! Did I mention we have a true opportunity for a very special season?

I'm thrilled with the UCLA win, that one will age well. OTOH, is it just me, or was that a career game for TSJ? If he doesn't go off with an insane 8 for 9 from 3, that game becomes a toss-up. Someone else is going to have to step up....

In another (car) forum I participate in....if a guy in the "room" brags about a girl (date, gf, wife, etc...) they are required to post pictorial evidence of the source of braggadocio....or it didn't happen.
We call it Rule #2.
The same rule exists for the girls and their boys.......but it's not as popular.

Ok but given how inexperienced we are as a team, would we not take early season toss-ups against top 10 competition?
I'm also reminded of the 2005 squad. Contrary to false memories, Luther, Deron, Dee, Roger etc.. did not always have great games. But at least 1 typically 2 of them did step up in each game. I feel like this squad has 3-4 that can step up in any given game.

Anyone else worried about the 16 offensive rebounds they gave up? Some long rebounds but it seemed they got beat underneath a lot. There offensive style will always lead to turnovers and particularly with the “team” experience at this point but rebounding should be a strength (or am I just accustomed to having the bully?).
