Last part of last answer to last question, first player JG mentions as somebody shooting the ball well when meshing inside/out play is tracy. Ahead of JCL, Malcolm and AJ. If he can legit shoot the way that implies, and we can space finke hill Abrams and JCL around Thorne. Oh man.

My thoughts exactly...to hear JFG comment on inside-out with Abrams shooting the ball well gives me goose bumps.

Feel free to delete this post, but me and my wife are coming into town for the game, looking for suggestions on some good restaurants. Haven't been to champaign in a bit. Thanks

Like others have said if you don't go to Black Dog you are missing out big time.

Seven Saints or the new Black Dog on Neil.

The new Black Dog is at Main and Chestnut (2 blocks off Neil), unless you know something I don't. It is in the old old train depot. The one time I ate there, I didn't think it was good as the Urbana location. It was fairly new at the time so perhaps it is better now.

I also like Seven Saints and Destilh. Sometimes it is easier to get in to the latter than the other two.

He mentioned Abrams because he has shown improvement, but he doesn't shoot it like the three you mentioned. Abrams will make some and then brick one badly from what I saw the two scrimmages I was at. If he shoots 35% from three, I would be happy.

My bet is you could get a thousand tickets at the door. Exhibition games do not sell out.

I went to black dog for the first time this summer when I was in own (the train depot one) and it didn't live up to the hype imho. Sure, it was good, maybe I was expecting too much, but it took forever just to get a seat, and I really just wanted a cheap beer, but all they had were craft beers. They did have a hellatious craft beer menu if you're into that

I found this on my cable channel and it shows 90 minutes.
Do they edit the games down to that time when they re-air?
I've never watched one this way before.
Thanks if you know.

Cut out halftime and some of the lengthy deadball situations and that's about right.

Black Dog in Champaign just isn't the same as the one in Urbana for some reason.

I love the fact they have a ton of craft beers but it surprises me they have no macro beers.

Exactly. Usually it's the comments like "shown improvement" that get ran with on here and turn into overhyped expectations.

Tracy's 3-pt percentage will depend on how good his shot selection is. His job should be as easy as it's ever been. Just get the ball to Hill, Thorne, JCL, Finke, etc. He definitely has a good enough shot to be an efficient shooter, similar to how Bertrand shot the ball a couple years ago. For much of the season Bertrand shot near 50% from 3 IIRC. He wasn't a great shooter, but he only took the ones in rhythm and wide open.

Was very surprising to me too, and slightly disappointing since I had been drinking cheap American light beer on the o&b golf course all afternoon in the 100 degree heat.

On a basketball note... IT'S FINALLY GAME DAY
