How I’d roughly break down the WR room over 12 games:

Beatty 950 yards
Bowick 560
Dixon 300
Clement 260
Elzy 230
I think Bowick will have 100 more yards and a touchdown line that won't make sense. I'll say it,

Bowick gets 10 touchdowns.

He just looks different when it gets to the red zone. Luke clearly has the utmost confidence in throwing the ball towards that big bodies receiver with strong hands.

Total game changer for the Illini. I've been banging the drum for Justin all season. We just haven't had a guy with his size/speed. (Not too mention, great footwork and route running)

We had a 20 minute walk when the Bears played here in 2002. Ended up parking off of S Lincoln. It just so happened to be that abysmal Patriots game...

I was at that game too. I think Brady was a 2nd year pro. Left before the refs reversed a Bears fumble recovery that would have iced the game. Watched the remainder of the game looking in a dorm picture window standing on a window well grate with 10 other people.....(No, it wasn't a co-ed's room). Looking back, the only thing that could have been worse was the grate breaking.

A mild bit concerned about this being a trap game....

1. It is the game before the Indiana-USC back to back
2. It is always "there is few good games" weeks that have a ton of upsets.

Not panicked though.

I agree completely. Absolute definition of a trap game.

That being said, this staff alone gives me so much confidence. No way they let this team come out flat.

In terms of it being a trap game that we lose, I also feel confident that this will not happen.

That doesn't rule out the possibility of things not firing on all cylinders, and a 31-14 type of result (which I think this coaching staff would find disappointing)

I would guess all three of our tailbacks would love to have more carries.

Really want to see Clarke back soon. Seems like his return keeps getting pushed back every week.
I'm okay with it. Sometimes timelines shift due to upcoming opponents. I felt like if he didn't play Duke, he wouldn't play til Indiana. Why rush it? Would be nice to get the game reps before conference play but does that outweigh getting 100%?

Absolutely! I can't even image what you and others with disability go through on a daily basis. Simple daily acts by most (including myself) are taken for granted. Blessings to you.
Thank you. And blessings on you as well.

Just remember last year when NIU upset Notre Dame.

And ND still made the playoffs, they don't need to schedule the top teams to make the playoffs, they'll make it every year with 1 or 2 losses and the strength of their brand.
Brand shouldn’t be a factor. The article warns that the CFP committee might struggle with ND if they loose this weekend but have few significant wins in remaining games. This seems like a reasonable perspective. Bye slots are also awarded based on performance. Nobody wants to see a big brand get in via a soft schedule. Gotta earn it.
